DBA 1500-1900 42a.Imperial (1606-1648)

The Imperialist Catholic Army from the TYW. The major difference between this & the Swedes is the inclusion of Pistols, Pistol armed Cavalry using Caracole tactics. There are a lot more options for Light Horse as well.

42a Imperial 1606-1648.
1x4Pi, 1x4Pi or 3xCv or 3Kn, 1x4Pi or 3Cv or 2LH, 1x2LH or 3Dr or 4Sh or 2Ps, 4x4Pk, 3x4Sh, 1xArt

BBDBA Swedish (1610-1670)

As with the vast majority of the Armies we build, we collect enough
elements for BBDBA. Here's 36 elements for battling the Poles &
Imperialist Armies in the TYW.

The mighty Swedish Army

The Knights & Dragoons on the left flank

The centre, Pike & Shot, Artillery & Cannon.
Including Scottish Pike & Shot in service of the Swedes.

DBA 1500-1900 41.Swedish (1610-1670)

The Swedish Army of Gustav Adolphus that fought in the Thirty Years War.
We used the Osprey Men at Arms books for basis of the uniforms.
Another good source of TYW uniforms comes from a pdf on the Vexillia site www.vexillia.ltd.uk/common/pdf/Uniforms30YW.pdf
The flags came from a cracking European resource & here's the link:
http://www.hz-forum.de/30_krieg_fahnen/alle_fahnen.htm

41 Swedish, 1610-1670.
3x3Kn, 1x3Kn or 3Dr or 4Sh or 2Ps, 1x3Kn or 4Sh, 3x4Sh, 2x4Pk, 1x4Pk or Cn, 1xArt.

The list is interesting in that it allows the Swedes to have a Cannon element.
The range of normal DBA Artillery is 500 paces, Cannons have 1000 paces.
A significant advantage if you use it right!

DBA IV/63 Aztec 1325-1521

Here we go, as promised, the Aztec Army that we picked up at Vapartnak. As for enemies, I'm sure we can morph our Imperial Spanish Armies into Conquistadors....

Aztec 5 Warband, all six elements - very nice!
