WW1 Middle East British

Here's our WW1 Middle East British Army. This lot will be the 'core' army, we still need to add some other elements such as Armoured Cars, Trucks & Command. These are on order from Minifigs (who seem to have the biggest 15mm WW1 selection around), hopefully these will arrive soon...... Also I'm pondering adding some Aussie Light Horse from Eureka. Air Support will come from Skytrex, a BE2 & Bristol Fighter, still awaiting a build & paint job.

This lot are a mixture of Essex, Minifigs, Irregular & some I can't identify. All painted by the Fazzies, both Jack & Amy helped & finished off with a brown poly dip varnish.

Very nice. I would consider giving them some more modern artillery. Those Krupp guns are a bit out of date, even for the 'side-shows'. You might also consider a stand or two of Arabs. They held the British flank in the Palestine campaign.

Cheers Chris.

Yes mate, I agree about the guns, I've ordered some 18pdrs. However Minifigs seem to be taking a lifetime sending me my order. Progress on the Turk Army has also been held up due to the same.....

All the Best

Your report of the action at Beni Baloo showed 2 armored cars for the British. Who made them? (Minifigs?) I am going with 20mm plastics, and was wondering if the A/C models are close enough to look OK.

Best regards,

Chris
