Sharp Practice Forces - Napoleonic British

A spiffing 28mm force for use in the Napoleonic Wars.  Based on my local Yorkshire Regiment, even though I have took a big biased leap here.  The XIX 'Green Howards' Regiment of Foot served only in Ceylon from 1803 to 1820.  Though as a side campaign,  I have just learned about the 'Kandyan' conflict which deserves a good look at in the future...

Anyway, half of these troops were first raised for our 'War of 1812', which I posted TEN years ago, WOW how time flies.  Sharp Practice is a BIG skirmish game, based on swashbuckling actions.  Each force is made from several Units, each Unit must have a Leader.  There is great scope to go & play 'over the top' games.  In our games one figure is equal to one man in real life.

This lot will be or core force, though I am slowly collecting extra 'Del Prado Relive Waterloo' figures to bolster the Highlanders & Guards units we already have.

A few new additions, the front rank are old Hinchcliffe figures (I think) & a new lick of paint, with green facings.

A heroic 32 man unit of Yorkshiremen.

Light Dragoons & Infantry

Soldiers from the Light Company.

The Light Dragoons, they are also the 19th Regiment.

A Light Artillery piece, Del Prado figures.

The limber is from Warbases.

We MUST have the 95th....

Sharpey & Harper

The Ammo Cart, Water Cart & Engineers Cart.
All from Warbases.

Fine looking force. I really like the mix of figures and poses. It's always great to see carts included too!
