Hearty Soviet Airborne Troops head for the Bridges. |
This one is a mighty clash from quite a few months ago, 6mm Team Yankee. A powerful Soviet Armoured force attempts to outflank the main West German lines by taking three unguarded bridges. A Soviet Airborne Company is dropped in & holds the bridges, Soviet Armour races along to relieve them. Too late, the West German Commander sees the danger & dispatches a West German Mechanized force to try & stop them...
Our Trusty "Cigar Box Quatre Bras Battlemat" is the battlefield. The Soviet Airborne troops are already on the table. |

Great stuff again Mr.F! Enjoy your 6mm TY game write ups. They show how much better they play in this scale. I play it too. However I halve the movement rates and play in cms on a small table due to space, around 80x50 so roughly equivalent to a standard 6x4. Keep them coming!

Now then Dave
6mm works well with Team Yankee, I'm glad our games bring you enjoyment. Though it is hard capturing a really good photo, it is difficult to get a detailed picture.
Soviet steamroller on this one, you don't get a lot of West Germans for the points!
Cheers
MrF
