MrF's War Bunker!

At last MrF & the gear have a new home.  The War Bunker (actually it's a 12' x 10' shed but hey ho) in the humble Fazzy garden.  As much gear as possible has been crammed into it & we have the potential for a nice sized table.  It has took a few months to get it sorted hence the lack of posts.

We used to have the back room in the house until 'She Who Must Be Obeyed!' decided to have a new look in the house.   But now we have 'The Bunker', roll on being able to leave the Lead Heroes set up overnight, no Mindless Moggies, Krazy Weimaraners or Kamikaze Daschunds trashing the joint!

Excellent News. Great looking gaming refuge.

I am lucky enough to have a similar-sized room in our house’s loft conversion, but as I get older (and my knees are beginning to give me trouble!) I am giving serious thought to building a shed in my garden to house my wargames stuff. My only proviso is that it must have heating for the colder months of the year. You seem to have a setup in your shed that is similar to what I have in mind. Well done … and I hope that now it is sorted out, you can start blogging regularly again.

All the best,

Bob

Now then BoB!

Yes mate, it's got Lights, & power. A nice Dvd/Vhs Combo pinched off the kids for viewing films from 'The Collection'. Yes, a Heater/Cool Fan is essential. Though I would recommend some good guttering AND Damp Proof/Fungicidal Paint on the inside walls backed up by suitably placed 'Moisture Traps'.

All the Best
