Very nice looking figures!

I can hardly wait to hear how they perform on the battlefield.

All the best,

Cheers Bob! We may not be playing much but I'm still keeping an eye on other blogs. Loved your article on the American Heritage games. We've got Skirmish by MB which is the American War of Independence game. A cracking game it is too. I think I got it as a present in the late 70's, it's still in good order & Jack & Amy love playing it.

Keep up the good work mate.

So could you just about get away with Russian Napoleonics for this period or would that be a step too far.

Now then Chris

Yes mate I believe you could, for the infantry regiments it's a matter of getting the forage cap figures. The Dragoons, Cossacks, Cuirassieras then yes.

It's a nice little period to game.

Cheers

Hello Heath. Thanks for the nice comments. We used an article from Wargames illustrated number 101. I put the page on our Calamita Bay Scenario listed here on on the blog==

http://mrfarrow2udba1519k.blogspot.co.uk/2010/08/dbacrimea1-breakout-from-calamita-bay.html

It's got what you are looking for & will get you gaming. Wargames Illustrated ran a series of articles for DBA rules/army lists relating to different periods, over a few years.

All the Best & let me know how your games goes!

If I remember, the Crimea War Rules worked well in the few games we played.

Hello Greyson

Thank you for the nice comment. If it's the Naval Infantry you are referring to, then they are Minifigs Prussian Landwher with the peaks of their caps removed.

All the Best
